Dewatering Screen

Dewatering screen is specifically designed as linear vibrating screen for drying and producing a consistent drip-less product with the average moisture content as low as 12% , even to depart insoluble contaminants from wash water or carrier liquids. The inclined design can remove more water more effectively than other screens, giving you the highest possible percentage of salable product.

Introduction

Dewatering screens have a wide variety of applications, such as dehydration, washing, classifying, desliming, sculting. They are used to replace or enhance sand screws and deliver a dryer, and can handle materials such as sand , gravel, aggregate, silica sand, coal, ore, tailings, clay an other granular materials. The vibrating screen used for dewatering are actually not exactly set at 0°, to set them up at a negative incline of about has proven to be very beneficial. The max processing capacity of screen is capable of up to 250 tons per hour. This capacity varies with the feed gradation. Other sizes can be customized to meet your plant’s requirements.

Working principle

The design of dehydration screen, depending on the requirements, in single or multi-deck construction. Dewatering screens are generally designed with top-mounted vibration motors drives.
 
Dewatering screen adopts dual-motor self-synchronization technology. The motors coordinate with universal eccentric and adjustable amplitude vibrator. When the two motors start to work, the vibrators move reversely at the same time. The centrifugal forces is generated by the eccentric blocks will superpose themselves and form a single direction vibration. The high frequency vibration drives the screen move back and forth in line repeatedly. So the sand can be dehydrated and filtered.
