Advantages of high-efficiency cyclone used in coal preparation

The heavy-medium cyclone can process coal with a capacity of 320-350t/h. The sorting density is 1.53-1.6kg/L, the flow rate of the mixed pump is about 1100m³/h, and the power of the mixed pump is 250kw. The electricity consumption per ton of coal in this link is 0.72-0.78kwh/t, and the ordinary cyclone of the same model handles 160-220t/h of coal.

The amount of coal processed in this link is calculated at 190 tons, so the electricity consumption per ton of coal in this link is 1.4kw/t.
Only in this link, the energy consumption of high-efficiency cyclones is nearly 40-50% lower than that of ordinary cyclones. This is mainly due to the increase in the amount of coal processed and the reduction in electricity consumption per ton of coal.

Take the 1200 high-efficiency pressureless three-product heavy-medium cyclone as an example, some of the coal processing capacity reaches 550-600t/h, the medium circulation volume is 1800-2000m³/h, and the pressure is 0.24-0.28Mpa. The power of the combined pump is about 600kw, and the electricity consumption per ton of coal is about 1kwh/t.

For ordinary cyclones to reach 550-600t/h of coal, 1500/1100 cyclones must be selected, with a medium circulation of 2400m³/h and a pressure of 0.32-0.4Mpa. The power of the combined pump is about 800kw, and the electricity consumption per ton of coal is about 1.33kwh/t.

To wash the same amount of coal, the amount of medium used is small, that is, coal is selected with the least amount of medium circulation.

Clean coal with less suspension

The pressureless three products use one density to complete the separation of the three products, and the combined density is about 1.4-1.6kg/L. The two-stage two-product cyclone requires two pumping, and there are upper and lower levels of coal and suspension. For reciprocating transportation, the total density of the two-stage pressurized cyclone must reach about 1.8kg/L. Not to mention the difficulty of suspension configuration, only the power of the mixing pump must be increased, because the power of the pump and the density of the medium to be transported Directly proportional. Don’t underestimate the power difference of the mixed pump for transporting 1.4kg/L and 1.8kg/L density suspensions, the latter is about 29% higher than the former. Not to mention the amount of secondary slime produced by the two stages and two products, which will cause a subsequent huge slime water system.
