Single-cylinder cone crusher vs multi-cylinder cone crusher

2022-02-16

Single-cylinder cone crusher vs multi-cylinder cone crusher

1. Adapt to different materials

The single-cylinder cone crusher is more suitable for the processing of soft ores and weathered ores, and the feeding port has a larger capacity; the multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher is more suitable for medium-hard and high-hard ores. In general, the harder the hardness, the greater the difference between the two.

The single-cylinder cone crusher and the multi-cylinder cone crusher are both laminated crushing. The faster the swing speed, the better the crushing effect. The swing speed of the multi-cylinder cone crusher is much faster than that of the single-cylinder cone crusher, so there are more fine-grained materials in the finished material of the multi-cylinder cone crusher, the particle size is more uniform, and the fine crushing effect is better.

2. Different production costs

The single-cylinder cone crusher has a compact structure and a small footprint. It adopts PLC centralized control to facilitate maintenance and has a low failure rate, so the service life is relatively long, and it is worth investing in in the long run. The basic investment of multi-cylinder cone crusher equipment is small, and the price is cheaper than that of single-cylinder, which can save production and investment costs for users.

3. Different discharge adjustment methods

The main shaft of the single-cylinder cone crusher is rotating. Under the action of the hydraulic cylinder, the size of the discharge port is adjusted by lifting or lowering the main shaft; the main shaft of the multi-cylinder cone crusher does not move, and the adjustment is mainly driven by pushing the cylinder adjustment cap. The ring is rotated in the support sleeve to adjust the size of the discharge opening.
